Consider and/or Act on an Ordinance canvassing the returns and declaring the election results for the May 2, 2026, of a General Election for the purpose of electing individuals to the Office of Mayor, Council Member Place 3, Council Member Place 5, to a three (3) year term of office each, and a Special Election for the purpose of submitting a ballot proposition to the qualified voter of the city, such proposition being the reauthorization of a local sales and use tax in the City of Murphy for the maintenance and repair of municipal streets.
